December Family Pictures

Our good friend Megan took our family picture for us this year - she was so nice to do this for us and the pictures turned out great. It was a little cold, so we only spent an hour or so outside taking both individaul and family pictures. Below are some of my favorites. Thank you, Megan!

Let's Catch Up!

This Christmas we've really enjoyed serving others - and so have our kids. We've gone Christmas caroling twice, sent several care packages to family (Brian's family draws names for Christmas), brought goodies to friends, neighbors, and teachers, and given our toys away to help build a new nursery at church. We've also gone to the Magical Forest of Trees and Lights (the kids had a blast) and have been participating in a wonderful choir for various Christmas firesides and parties at church. 'Tis the season to be busy!

Here's a few pictures of us these past several weeks.



Saturday morning is always fun at the Reeve home. Daddy wrestles and plays with the kids while I make a pancake breakfast. Here's a typical moment of Daddy tossing the kids around.




Irelynn's first roll-over!! We caught it on camera, but there wasn't enough battery to catch it on video. She had just turned 3 months old a few days before her first roll-over. Great job!




This year we had Thanksgiving at my parents house. We all pitched in to make an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. My sister, Sharon, and her family drove up from California making this Thanksgiving extra special! Natalya and Branson LOVE playing with their cousins. We wish we lived a little closer.


It's our family tradition to make a gingerbread house on Thanksgiving. With my sister and her family here, we decided to make two! They turned out great - and the best part is making them together.



Irelynn makes the cutest Santa baby I've ever seen! Her Uncle Spencer gave her this little outfit - and we got a ton of adorable pictures of her wearing it. This one is my favorite.




Santa visits Brian's office every year. Natalya was SO excited to give him her list and ask him how his reindeer are doing. Branson, on the other hand, was sleeping in the car before we arrived at the office. I had to wake him up to see Santa. It was a very bad wake-up. He screamed and cried the ENTIRE time. We finally just left.




Irelynn is our first baby to suck on her fists at every chance she gets. But this was her first time truly sucking her thumb! I thought it was so cute, I had to take a picture.





Branson has become obsessed with Where's Waldo books lately. He "reads" them every day. He even has to take them in the car wherever we go. This is a picture of him with his Waldo book in his carseat. I thought he was just hiding behind his book when I tried to get him out of the car - nope, he fell asleep on the way home while reading.




Natalya has a Saturday morning dance class. She LOVES to dance and absolutely enjoys going to dance every week. Here are some ballet pictures.


A little angel. (Well, most of the time.)



A winter wonderland in Las Vegas?! We had two storms pass through Las Vegas, each covering our city in snow. We normally get one or two "snowfalls" a year - but they never actually stick to the ground. This was so fun!



Here is our street even before it really started coming down hard. Once nightime came, the streets were completely covered in white.


Our kids had a blast! They loved making footprints in the backyard.



And we even make a snowman. He has cherry tomatoes for eyes, a carrot nose, Sweetart candy buttons, and a bell necklace.




Natalya had a Christmas party at her preschool. They ate treats, played games, made crafts, and sat on Santa's lap.



Natalya's favorite part was hitting the pinata. She actually hit it so hard that the neck cracked - and the next person up to bat knocked it down! Way to go!



She rolls over almost every day now.

Irelynn had her first drink of water! And she liked it! On Christmas, we're going to feed her her first bites of rice cereal.

I've probably mentioned this before, but she's our first baby to actually fall asleep without having to be rocked. It's awesome.

Coming up next... CHRISTMAS!! I can't wait to post pictures of Christmas. It is absolutely my most favorite time of the year.

Rewind to Halloween!

I never got the chance to post pictures of Halloween - let alone upload them to our computer. So let's rewind for a minute to Halloween and I'll share with you all that went on during the month of October!

There was a giant slide at the pumpkin patch. Yes, that's Brian chasing Branson up the big slide. They enjoyed the slide more than picking out pumpkins. :)

But they loved helping design and carve our jack-o-lanterns. Although Branson didn't like getting his hands all slimey from cleaning out the pumpkins, Natalya loved it! Branson really just liked to draw on his pumpkin.

Notice the date stamped on our pictures. We were so busy during Halloween, that we decided to wait until the day afterwards (November 1st) to carve our pumpkins. It was actually more enjoyable that way. And it made our holiday last a little longer.

For Brian's home teaching this month, we decided to do a home teaching family home evening. We had several families over for a short spiritual message, pumpkin decorating, and dessert. Some of the parents may have had as much fun as the kiddies.

This year we decided to have a theme to our costumes. And it only seemed appropriate considering we have three little children to be, "The Three Little Monkeys Who Jumped On the Bed" with "Mamma" and "The Doctor" of course. Unfortunately, "The Doctor" is taking this picture, so you can't see his doctor-like costume. And I, "Mamma" ended up putting curlers in my hair.

I loved the kids' costumes because they were warm, and they came with curly little tails, mittens, shoe covers, and bananas attatched to them. The first thing they wanted to do when they put them on was jump on the bed! And they did!

Above is Branson's 2 year old play group. We threw a little dress-up Halloween party for them. Branson's favorite part was searching for hidden spiders in the back yard - and eating snacks, of course. As a side note, the little Snow White that took a picture with Branson mentioned to her mother that she and Branson were going to fall in love and get married when they grow up. I love it.

Natalya's pre-school had a Halloween party and parents and siblings were invited! Branson had so much fun being a "big kid" with Natalya. The pre-school had snacks, several Halloween games, playtime outside, and goodie bags.

Happy belated Halloween! I hope to get our Thanksgiving pictures posted before Christmas. :)
