First Bites of Baby Food
I had introduced Annika to rice cereal once or twice before, but waited to feed her real baby food until I thought her little body needed it. Here she is getting her first bites of baby food, sweet potatoes, while we visited with my sister and cousins at a restaurant.
She didn't care for her baby food at all. (I don't think she actually swallowed any for a few weeks of consistent attempts.) But at least she recuperated well. This picture was taken seconds after I took off her bib and wiped her face. Maybe she was just glad to be done!
