Snell & Wilmer has been good to us. Each year they make a special appointment with Santa to visit the office. Our kids absolutely look forward to having their own face-time with Santa.
This year it was obvious to our kids that Santa had to send one of his helpers because he didn't look or sound like the real deal - and his beard wasn't real. BUT, they still thought it was cool to meet him since he must be close friends with the real Santa! They debated for a long time afterward if he was a large elf or just a regular guy. :)
We had a great time. The kids got to chat with him, tell him how this year has been, that they've been good, asked him questions about the reindeer, etc. We ate Santa cookies and thanked Santa with hugs and high 5's. And Annika didn't even cry - but she didn't love him either. She was more like, "This guy is creeping me out," but didn't show her true distaste because that would be rude. Haha.
