Easter 2012

We celebrate the commercial part of Easter on Saturday and focus on Christ's resurrection on Sunday.  The Easter Bunny came early Saturday morning and left us 4 baskets hidden around the house and about a zillion eggs.  Each child had their own design - Natalya had bunny eggs, Branson had soccer eggs, and Irelynn had little chick eggs.

I love morning hair.  Mind you, it's 5:50 in the morning. 

Annika discovered that jelly beans make a tasty breakfast.  Then she discovered that the bowl made a great place to sit...

Annika really loved sitting in that bowl!

Sunday

Branson, Natalya and Irelynn dressed in their Sunday best before church.  Where's Annika?  She wouldn't sit still for a picture.  Instead...

The little stinker prefers running from the camera...

Or climbing in the Tonka truck...

Or playing in the rocks...

And dropping the rocks in the air conditioning units.

Such a sweetie.

But most of the time she likes to run!

Sunday afternoon we decorated Easter eggs.  The Easter egg coloring kit was Natalya's pick this year - tie dye!  They turned out great and the kids loved making them. 

Grandma and Grandaddy came over for Easter dinner.  I baked a spiral cut ham.  Mmmm...

When Easter was all over, Branson declared it his favorite holiday!  Even more than Christmas.  We'll see if he still feels that way when December arrives.  :)
