Natalya was nearly too excited to sleep the night before she started pre-school. I was a little concerned for her considering all that has happened recently - but she took to pre-school like a fish to water! I am so proud of our "big girl". Her school is four hours long. During that time, they sing songs, have outdoor time, have circle time, centers, storytime, and a snack. She has already learned the Pledge of Allegiance, made a puppet of herself, and everyday she marches around the house singing the "Good Morning" song. She's also enrolled in a little computer class every Friday. During computers she learns reading and math while practicing clicking, dragging and other computer skills. Academically she is very well prepared for kindergarten - but pre-school was necessary to help develop her social skills. Natalya is a little shy at first and gets embarrassed easily. She's also not used to taking regular instruction from many other teachers. So far, she has done an excellent job! I don't foresee her having many problems this year.
This experience lays the foundation for future years in school- I am so glad she enjoys learning.
Daddy got to see her off on her first day.
There were so many fun things for kids in the hallways (including a slide that traveled through a glass wall), it was hard to get Branson to leave! Maybe next year we'll enroll him, too.
This is Natalya with her friend, Dallin. They did Joy School together last year and see each other in Sunbeams every Sunday - now they go to Creative Kids together!
Yes, her pre-school has an indoor sandbox!
Natalya's classroom.
Wearing blue is her teacher, Miss Lisa. She is a teacher and a mother of two.
Way to go, big kid!

Awww. How fun. I didn't realize it was Creative Kids you decided on. That is where my friend Erin used to teach. I love Branson's face in the background of the picture with Natalya in her backpack. Does she go in the morning so we could have an afternoon tea party?
Adorable pictures! And look at how fun that pre-school looks!! Natalya is such a beautiful little girl... I still remember when you were pregnant with her!
i can't believe you have a kid in preschool. crazy! and i LOVE the girls room. SOO cute!:) did you do their names? love it!
Natalya and Dallin were so excited a couple Sundays ago. They were telling everyone that they were starting school. It was so cute!
Hey cute girl! What an amazing preschool! That is really neat! Have you discovered the store Lakeshore Learning? They have some up here in Utah, but I think they have a store in Henderson. It is amazing, it has the neatest learning toys like the ones in the pictures of Natalya's preschool. I ordered the catalog online and have a billion things circled for my wish list. I just had to tell you about it! Oh my gosh I love the girl's room too! You have such classy taste! I wish you could decorate my house!
We just started Brayden in preschool and he is loving it! It looks like she is so excited to be there!
