Getting Bigger By the Day...

I wish I could blog at least once a week! Now with three children, most days I don't even turn on the computer. So the following is a collection of pictures (each labeled, of course) of Irelynn growing up before our very eyes~

Irelynn at 4 weeks old -
Branson and Natalya try to sneek in every picture I take of her! It's kindof cute.

Getting chubbier!

Irelynn's first Sunday to church! She wore a darling blue dress that my sister-in-law, Amy, picked out for her. It was the same week as the primary program in Sacrament meeting. All the children sang - including our little family. We sang "Home Is Where the Heart Is". Natalya sang the entire first verse as a solo and did a fantastic job! We were SO proud of her.

Grandma snuggling Irelynn on her first day going to church.

She looks like a baby doll to me.

This is for sure one of my favorite pictures. Natalya is so proud to be Irelynn's sister!

Daddy talking to Irelynn - She smiles everyday now! All you have to do is say her name and she'll smile at you. She's such a sweetheart.

My happy baby at 9 weeks old, and already 10 pounds!

Next, I'll post pictures of her baby blessing at church :)

Who's Who?

The following pictures are of Natalya as a newborn and Irelynn just a couple weeks ago.

Can you guess who is who??

Well I think we can all agree that Natalya and Irelynn are sisters! It's funny though- as much as they look alike, I still think they look very different. And as Irelynn grows older I'm sure their differences will become more and more distinct.

PS: I haven't posted more recent pictures of Irelynn because our camera has been acting up. I haven't taken hardly any pictures of her these last few weeks! It's driving me crazy. But I just changed the batteries and we'll see if that makes a difference.

2 Weeks Old

Here's our little sweet pea at 2 weeks old! Irelynn weighed about 5 pounds 15 ounces. She loves to cuddle and gets kisses from her older brother and sister constantly. She is by far our best baby - sleeping all the time. THANK YOU, Irelynn!

Irelynn's carseat is her favorite place to nap.

(Besides laying on me)

As of right now, she has beautiful blue eyes.

This was her first real bath! She had sponge baths before, but once her belly button healed we were anxious to give her a real bath. Too bad she hated it.

It's tradition for my mom to give each grandchild their first bath. It was a combined effort, but she did a fantastic job.

Thanks, Grandma!

Please Vote

We had a Freebairn family reunion on 08/08/08 this year. Below is our group shot but unfortunately, we were missing one big family and several individuals.
We had a wonderful reunion - it was so great to see family!

Here are individual family pictures. We didn't have much time - so there were only a few taken. And it was one of those long days - Natalya was crying and Branson wanted nothing to do with sitting still for pictures. But having said that, I was happy to get these pictures. I need to choose 2 for our family wall and I thought you could help me pick! Please vote! (I'm just too picky)

First Day of Pre-School

Natalya was nearly too excited to sleep the night before she started pre-school. I was a little concerned for her considering all that has happened recently - but she took to pre-school like a fish to water! I am so proud of our "big girl". Her school is four hours long. During that time, they sing songs, have outdoor time, have circle time, centers, storytime, and a snack. She has already learned the Pledge of Allegiance, made a puppet of herself, and everyday she marches around the house singing the "Good Morning" song. She's also enrolled in a little computer class every Friday. During computers she learns reading and math while practicing clicking, dragging and other computer skills. Academically she is very well prepared for kindergarten - but pre-school was necessary to help develop her social skills. Natalya is a little shy at first and gets embarrassed easily. She's also not used to taking regular instruction from many other teachers. So far, she has done an excellent job! I don't foresee her having many problems this year.

This experience lays the foundation for future years in school- I am so glad she enjoys learning.

Daddy got to see her off on her first day.

There were so many fun things for kids in the hallways (including a slide that traveled through a glass wall), it was hard to get Branson to leave! Maybe next year we'll enroll him, too.

This is Natalya with her friend, Dallin. They did Joy School together last year and see each other in Sunbeams every Sunday - now they go to Creative Kids together!

Yes, her pre-school has an indoor sandbox!

Natalya's classroom.

Wearing blue is her teacher, Miss Lisa. She is a teacher and a mother of two.

Way to go, big kid!

The Girls' Suite

I finally have the girly room almost complete - at least it's complete enough to post on my blog! We themed the entire room off of Natalya's favorite colors: pink and brown.

Now entering- Natalya and Irelynn's room...

From the hallway, looking in.

Again from the hallway-

Natalya was so excited to be right next to Irelynn. She can't wait for her "baby sissy" to actually sleep in her crib - so they can have sleepovers every night!

This was my rocking chair when I was a little girl.

My mom rocked me in this very rocking chair when I was a newborn! And I have rocked all three of my children in the same chair.

Natalya is excited to have tea parties with her sister - instead of with her brother.

Next project? Finish Branson's room... but maybe later.
