It's amazing how the youngest of the family magically becomes a big kid once the baby arrives. It happens every time. With Annika here, Irelynn is seemingly older and more mature than she had just a few weeks ago.
A friend from church mentioned to me a conversation she had with her teenage son. He was apparently watching Brian and our kids in Sacrament meeting at church last week. He couldn't believe how much Irelynn looks like a big kid now. He said that he remembers when she was born and is just amazed at her growth. Then his mom told me, "She's not a baby anymore. She looks like a little girl!"
So I'm not crazy. With each new addition, the baby of the family grows into the big kid...
