With each baby who has joined our family, we've been lucky to have a special visit from Nana to welcome our newcomer. She arrived last Wednesday night and stayed through Monday morning. Although it was nice for me to have another adult around to balance my load, it was equally as nice to reconnect with one another. We had a lot of down time at home, but we also ran to the grocery store together, to and from school, Natalya's musical theater, and a Saturday morning trip to IHOP for breakfast.
The kids most enjoyed Nana's one-on-one time. She played basketball with Branson, put puzzles together with Irelynn, and did makeup with Natalya.
We unfortunately didn't take many pictures while she was here, but here are a few I took Sunday afternoon of Nana bonding with Annika.
Big Stretch! Sometimes the camera does appropriately capture sweet little moments like this one.
